Who makes this workbook

About Rungbook

Rungbook is an independent practice workbook for the Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) exam: free practice questions sorted by the seven blueprint domains, a note on every answer option, and an iPhone app with a larger bank. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected to the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.

How the practice questions are made

  1. Start from the published blueprint

Every item belongs to one domain of the 2025 CPRP Exam Blueprint, and the practice test gives each domain roughly its share, from 9–11% for Systems Competencies to 19–21% for Interpersonal Competencies.

  2. Write a situation, not a definition

Most items open with a person, a program and a decision, then offer four options with one key, because that is the shape the exam’s items take.

  3. Explain every option

Each wrong option gets its own note: the trap it sets and the principle it breaks, such as deciding for the person instead of with them.

How the facts are checked

Exam facts come from PRA’s own documents: the candidate handbook, the blueprint and the eligibility pages. The candidate handbook sets the format at 125 items in 3 hours, and that is the figure used here. Fees changed between the 2024 and 2025 handbooks, so any fee on this site carries a date and a link.

Where PRA does not publish something, such as a passing score, Rungbook does not guess one.

What Rungbook is not

  • Not PRA, not its Certification Commission, and not endorsed by either.
  • Not a prep course, and it promises no result.
  • Not a place that holds your application, exam booking, results or credential: those stay with PRA.
  • Not clinical advice. The scenarios are exam practice; real practice decisions follow your agency and your supervisor.

Checking who is behind a free practice test before trusting it is a sound instinct. The useful next step is small: open the practice test, answer five questions in Domain I and read the note under each option. Or go back to the overview of the CPRP credential.

Carry the workbook on your iPhone

The iPhone app carries its full bank of CPRP practice questions, sorted by the seven blueprint domains. Ten questions on a break add up faster than one long weekend session.
